Please see our ChronoTrader Policies and Terms of Use. Learn more about How To Include Photos In Your Postings.

Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). FS: Omega Speedmaster Professional X-33 Gen 2

See my article here for more info about the X-33 model:
http://watches.ryanrooney.com/X-33

Yes, I've lost my mind.

Despite the exhaustive article on these I've decided that as much as I like the X-33, space and pilot watches are a little divergent with the rest of my collecting interests which continue trending more and more toward vintage watches. Given the strong market for these I've decided to part with it to fund the purchase of another spring-driven bauble though I expect I may regret it some day, especially if prices keep rising on these like they have (about 100% in only the last year!).

3291.50.00 "Gen 2" Omega Speedmaster Professional X-33 on complete titanium Speedmaster style bracelet with all links included. Includes complete box and papers, including exterior box, "spacesuit material" interior box, manual, warranty cards and even hang tag.

Condition:
Great condition, all functions including alarm and backlight work to spec. Crown and all pushers have positive feel and spring back crisply.

The exterior AR coating is worn as is prone to happen on dual-coated sapphire crystals as the coating is not as durable as the sapphire underneath. I was on the verge of using Polywatch to remove the exterior coat and expose the pristine sapphire crystal underneath, but decided to leave it in its original condition and leave the decision up to the next owner. Will remove exterior AR coating at buyer's request before shipping, or it's a 5-minute job with plastic polish like Polywatch if you decide to do it later. Afterward the crystal will look like new.

Just had a fresh Renata Swiss made battery installed over the weekend, when I took the chance to do some minor touch up refinishing on the bracelet as well. Only very minor scratches remain, so minor that I had a tough time photographing though I tried hard to accurately portray condition in photos. Some scratches to bezel near :00 and :05 markers that don't even show up in some photos bu look worse than they are in the others. While noticeable on inspection they don't detract significantly from the appearance, and while they could likely be reduced with a scratch pen I never found them annoying enough to bother.

The actual watch for sale at a Shuttle Launch last year at Cape Canaveral, FL:

Absolutely 100% authentic.

$2425 shipped by USPS EMS in CONUS. Under US law seller is not responsible once item is consigned to carrier for shipment, so inquire if other carrier is desired. International shipping at actual cost under certain conditions - inquire with destination for rate. Payment by wire or Paypal OK (split fees) to confirmed address ONLY - no exceptions.

Maratac Zulu strap in "Airborne Maroon" shown included free if sale completes today only. Goes great with the red detailing on hands and bezel, even better than the red OEM Kevlar IMHO. Ships on bracelet or strap at buyer's option.

Higher-res images available on inquiry.
