This early example 1958 Datejust Ref. 6605 retains its original and very rare SWISS only "Pie Pan" salmon dial which is highly sought after among collectors. The case is sharp and the lugs are thick, free from any blemishing or scratches. The original coin edge white gold bezel is stunning and original to the watch. This piece would make a great addition to any expanding collection. We love the early Rolex Datejust for its simplicity and its classic sophistication.

CASE & BRACELET

The excellent case remains sharp with thick lugs, free from any blemishing or scratches. The white gold "coin edge" bezel remains unpolished showing very minimal wear. The original case back is stamped IV.1958. The watch will come supplied with a Vintage Style Watch Strap "Dark Brown".

DIAL & HANDS

The rare and elusive original Salmon SWISS only "Pie Pan" dial is in stunning vintage condition, showing a light patina throughout the dial. The lume plots have taken on a lovely dark coloration. Lume plots at the 5, 6, and 7 o'clock markers are missing, the rest of the lume plots remain fully intact. The original "alpha hands" are in exceptional condition showing minor oxidation, matching the overall presence of the watch. The lumed hands remain fully intact and match the dial patina perfectly.

ACCESSORIES

None. The watch was fully serviced and running at COSC spec backed by a 1-year warranty on movement.
