When Glashutte Original (GO) introduced the PanoGraph chronograph movement, most of us were blown-away by the originality of the movement design and chronograph layout. This watch represented perhaps the most innovative new chronograph design since wristwatch chronographs went through their first renaissance and revolution beginning in the 1930’s. There are few modern luxury watches that have the overall horological significance and beauty of the PanoGraph. GO themselves seemed to recognize this by making the movement more exclusive— after its initial release, availability of the PanoGraph was subsequently restricted to the far more expensive gold and platinum models. A look at the prices of those models will immediately show what a great value the stainless steel model is.

This watch was purchased by us brand new from an authorized dealer at the time the watch was originally introduced. The watch has been worn maybe 20 to 25 times total. It was maintained in a climate-controlled environment and wound once per month during which we also ran the chronograph. The original strap was replaced with a beautiful and upgraded/expensive Sirtoli alligator strap that has been very lightly used. The watch has the original deployment buckle. It comes with all of its original boxes and papers as shown in the picture. The watch has never required service nor has it been polished. The watch is running extremely well— we have tested and timed it on our Witschi timing machine and can provide those results to a prospective buyer upon request. Relative to overall condition, the watch is in Excellent condition, please see the pictures. It has the standard hairlines you encounter on a watch having been worn 20-25 times and also there is one very slight/small nick on the bezel at about 1:30, on the part of the bezel that just touches the crystal. We had a hard time getting a picture of it.

ClockSavant Watchmaker Testing, Certification, and Performance Measurement: All the watches we sell go through a comprehensive series of ClockSavant-developed functional, stability, and performance tests and are only approved for sale if they meet or exceed the criteria we have established. Detailed performance results are available upon request.

Returns: For this watch we provide 3-day inspection and period provided that the watch is returned in the exact condition received with all boxes, papers, and accessories as-received.

Payment: We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and wire transfer.

Sales Tax: Virginia residents will pay sales tax

Shipping: USPS Priority shipping within the United States is $25. For international shipping, we typically ship insured via Federal Express with an average cost of $40. If you are located internationally, please contact us so we can verify that we are able to ship insured to your country and to confirm the final shipping cost.

Customs - International Buyers: The customs value for the shipment will be the same as the price you paid. Therefore, you may pay customs on the item based on your country's import rules. All customs fees will be your responsibility. We do not misrepresent information on customs forms or mark items as gifts. We put a good deal of effort into assuring international shipments are packed and forms completed correctly. If there are customs delays or problems, we will attempt to help you if it relates to anything under our control. However, customs delays may frequently be beyond our control. For international sales, it is not possible to legally export alligator or crocodile straps from the US or import them into most countries without considerable CITES paperwork and permits. Without proper paperwork, watches can be seized by customs. If you are an international buyer, we will discuss your requirements and alternatives including separate shipment, substituting a high quality matching leather strap or providing a discount so you can purchase a new strap in-country.

Watches are not waterproof unless stated otherwise. Vintage watches should never be exposed to water.
