FS: Glashutte Tutima Flieger Chrono. Cal.59, c.1943

I am not particularly keen on selling this, but I have the chance to get my hands on something of a grail (full set, one owner 105.012 Speedy), so need to free up some funds.

Those who are looking for one of these will know why they are such cool watches, and that the vast majority on the market are (putting it kindly) frankened. So many of these are cobbled together out of various parts, replated etc. If you spotted my post on the MWR main forum a while ago, this one has had some sympathetic restoration, but only where totally necessary. This involved fitting a set of pushers which are (I assume) reproduction and a new crystal (original supplied as well), along with some restorative work to the pusher tubes. Other than that, as far as I can tell, it is 100% original. The case shows its battle scars, and the plated brass back has a fair bit of wear and pitting, which has almost obliterated the serial, however, one can see enough to know it matches the movement number.

The lume on the dial has blackened, but the dial is in otherwise excellent condition. Hands are correct. The movement has not been serviced, but is running well (-12 sec a day average), the chrono flyback etc functions as it should.
Movement serial is 204424, it is the silver gilt type, with the fine adjustment on the regualtor.

Please email me for further pictures or if you have questions.

I'm pricing it at £4000, which I think is fair for an honest watch, but I need to free up funds so am open to reasonable offers. Delivery can either be face to face in the South of England, or by DHL courier, if international, this will be £50.
