FS: Sinn EZM1 (BAPE Version Restored to Ar)

Hi all,

This is going be interesting... up for your consideration is a Sinn EZM1 with an interesting history.

Full disclosure:

This watch was originally one of the ugly BAPE Camo editions that was released by Sinn. A few of these were converted back to the Ar dial by a community member (namor) -- you can read the original thread here: http://www.thedivewatchconnection.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=31218&p=578060&hilit=Sinn+BAPE+EZM1#p578060

My watch is one of those.

I purchased it some time ago from another member on the watchuseek community (who purchased it from namor), but am now selling it because there are a lot of vintage heuers I want to add to my collection and that means some of the older pieces have to go.

The previous owner sent the watch to RGM to get a general service and refill the Ar gas. The watch fits a 7-1/4 wrist and comes with one extra link. I also include the ugly camo bezel and straps that it originally came with. The watch has the matching Sinn box from the BAPE version.

Price:

I'm going to be honest, I have difficulty determining a "fair" price. On one hand, given that it is a restored BAPE version, it is certainly not as collectible as the other rarer EZM1s. Still, it's an excellent daily beater and you can easily wear and enjoy this piece without worrying about dings hurting its value (which I feel is how some other Sinn EZM1 collectors with the rarer, and way more expensive EZM1s feel).

For all intents and purposes, this is an EZM1 with a functioning Lemania 5100 movement and works perfectly and looks great. And on top of that, you can wear it as a daily beater without too much stress.

I'm going to start by asking for $4000, but I am completely open to offers (try me) if you have a fair valuation in mind. What I care more about is that this is a watch the eventual buyer will be able to wear and enjoy.

I live in the Washington, D.C. area and am happy to meet face to face if you're around here.

Feel free to email me with any questions or thoughts you may have.

You can also contact me via whatsapp/text at 240-751-3964 or on instagram (and can see more photos of the watch there): https://www.instagram.com/a_shishy/

Thanks for your time,
Ashish
