FS: Steel Le Jour chronograph vintage watch case 1960s Val. 72

Useful vintage Le Jour chronograph case in solid steel with the sought after twisted lugs a popular Valjoux 72 LeJour chronograph case. Has its original unpolished finish in overall excellent condition with just some wear to the printing on the back. Has a ding on the outer edge of one lug as shown in the photo. Great part to build up a Le Jour Yachting chronograph a 3-register Val. 72 chrono or other Le Jour chrono model. This case was used with a variety of 1960s chronograph Le Jour models such as Yachtingraf and other Le Jour collectible chronos. Nice to upgrade your watch to this case with the curved lugs that is much like the comparable vintage Omega Speedmaster Heuer Carrera and Universal Geneve Tricompax twisted lugs case designs. Oversize chronograph old 1950s/60s era case that measures 36.9mm in diameter. Long lugs case that measures 46mm from lug top tip to bottom lug tip. Front case where the dial shows through is 30.9mm wide. Inner case diameter where the movement sits is 33.5mm wide. Case depth is 8.46mm from the flat part of the back to the top of the front of the case. Has only one pusher installed. Case is in original unpolished condition signed inside Le Jour Time Co. Swiss Made on it. The screw back just has light scratches and the original printing around the case back edge is faint but reads "Waterproof Swiss Made Antimagnetic Incabloc All Stainless Steel." Takes a 19mm strap.
