Up for sale or trade with vintage chronographs a nice example of a high-quality Bucherer chronograph powered by a Lemania 1873 movement. This watch is a must for the collector of vintage/ Lemania chronographs.
Beautiful Cream dial with black sub dials and chapter ring, Orange seconds hand. Crown on left for turning the inner bezel. Fitted with a black leather strap that is incredibly comfortable and suits the watch perfectly.
Date of last service unknown but watch keeps time, the chronograph works and resets back to zero. The heavy all stainless and unpolished steel case is 43mm wide excluding crowns, 43mm lug to lug, 16mm thick and 22mm between the lugs. Looks all original to me with marks from age on the case and some scratches on the mineral glass, not on the dial. Lemania movement serial is 2947470 which dates it to 1970. Caseback has personal etching and the words 'Water resistant, Swiss made Stainless Steel, Shock resistant'. Inner case back stamped 'Bucherer Swiss Acer Inoxydable 9653' Which is probably the model number, although it's too rare to find another and tell. Movement signed Bucherer 17 Jewels.
