Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. In addition, we request that sellers linking to online auctions or listings offer some benefit or accomodation to ChronoTrader readers (for example, some discount or an undertaking to end an auction early, to keep a watch "in the family"). Photos must be of the actual item for sale in its present condition. No counterfeit or replica products. No post for the same item may be repeated within 7 days, except to lower the asking price. Commercial dealers are limited to three unique posts per day. [More...]
On offer is a super rare bird - hard to be found in this condition, a Movado Super Sub Sea.
Incl. original Box and Papers(?).
As can be seen in the photos, condition of the Sub is really nice:
Case - original condition, signs of only light use, unscratched, no dings, probably never polished. Case ref. 138-705-501.
Dial - charcoal black, mildly aged, undamaged, SWISS signed, lume complete and consisting with all 3 hands.
Crown - original, M-logo signed.
Crystal - original, polished in the past, M-logo signed in the center(!).
Bezel - uncracked, with slight scatches but nothing dramatic. Undamaged.
Movement - Automatic ZENITH signed 2552PC, winds really well, clean, running strong, does not necessarily require serve, though service history unknown.
Bracelet - Gay Freres lobster bracelet w/ 20 mm ZR signed end pieces. Movado buckle not GF signed, probably a later replacement.
Watch comes with genuine MOVADO box (though red positioner is missing) plus warranty papers - which also tell the history of Movado until 1967 a bit - issued 5/1/71 consitent with model production and release. One thing to point out: Papers carry 434-705-501 (ref. of chrono version), but confusions between Diver and Chrono versions have been encountered and researched in the past regarding paperwork and bracelet signatures. Wanted to mention this for reasons of completeness.
Watch and myself are located in the Munich area, Germany.
Price is 3.500 EUR.
Payment: F2F with pleasure, Paypal absolutely, but kindly add 4% for fees.
