The watch has all the typical military characteristics. Black dial with radium lume and arabic numerals. The watch is produced by Universal, which was at the time one of the most prestigious Swiss watchmakers. This watch shows the crown over W, which was at the time the symbol for the dutch queen "Wilhelmina" These watches are produced in a limited number and are becoming increasingly rare. It is always interesting to wonder what a military watch has been trough, and this one being from 1939, it surely has seen a lot. The case shows signs of wear, showing us the watch was intensively used. The original radium has faded and there are also signs of wear on the dial.
