Rules: Postings must be an ad announcing an intent to sell, buy or trade. Full item description and photo(s) must be posted within the message here, not as links to other websites. Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. I like to sell my 1K full-golden Zenith AF / P Automatic from the late sixties / early seventies. It is in MINT Condition. Please look at the pictures.
The Zenith is 36mm excl. Crown and 42mm lug to lug. Furthermore, it is a very flat watch and has a 20mm strap. Because of these points it is a nice big watch similar to a Datejust.
It is equipped with the Zenith 408 High-Beat caliber. This therefore taps 36,000 times per hour. The timepiece runs well and keeps the time accurately. The 18k gold case is never polished and razor sharp.
The crown has the old Zenith logo. The dial is gray in color and also provided with the imposed Zenith symbol. A beautifully tight dial with the date at half 5 and AF / P (= High Beat) written at the bottom of the dial. On the back cover is the number 696D178. Also note how the hands are finished!
Fitted on a leather strap which also comes from the 70s. There is no Zenith so it will not be original but is beautiful. The warranty book that comes with it is from the years 60/70 but I do not expect original delivered with the watch.
