FS: Hamilton Chrono-matic Panda Dial

You know it, you love it… the Hamilton Chrono-matic Panda. This has been a prized piece in my collection, but it’s time to set it free. Condition is well-worn with an attractive patina of light scratches. It’s not a safe-queen. I wore it conservatively, no idea about it’s life from 1969 until when it ended up in my possession, but no signs of harm. Nor are there signs of it having ever been polished as the edges are straight and sharp.

The lume on the dial and hands is long gone, and there doesn’t seem to be debris floating around, so it was likely cleaned out. I actually think the dial looks a touch better without those lumps of lume, but to each their own. The hands are skeletonized as a result.

Movement runs well, though service history is unknown. Date is quickset and can be changed by moving between around 9pm and 1am.

This is a remarkable watch. It’s rare, it’s gorgeous, it’s highly underrated. It will be missed.

The watch is sold as pictured with a W&W Navy Model 2 Premium strap. The watch is a 19mm and the strap is a wide 18mm, so it fits well.

Asking $4,250 Paypal, Venmo, Chase quickpay only, CONUS highly preferable.
