Selling this very cool and rare military watch. I have heard that only 2500 was made back then and many have been destroyed or worn out.
It was made for the Swedish military in the 70's and this watch is from the mid 70's.
It has an all steel case approx 36mm excluding the big original crown. 38mm including crown.
Dial is very attractive with a very cool patina. It has some bubles and missing some laquer between 7 and 8 o'clock. But in my opinion it only adds to the coolness of this rugged watch. Its clear that it was made for use and not for the drawer.
Case is in good condition with normal usage marks.
Caseback has the 3 Swedish crowns to document that it was manufactured for the Swedish military forces.
It even has the original pins that protrudes a bit in the lugholes.
The Movement is the realiable ETA 3750 with a very cool hacking seconds feature.
Dial has a very nice patina but to me the handset are even nicer - they look really good.
The movement is running good but is a bit loose when you pull the crown, due to a bit worn movement retainer(grey plastic ring). The movement is being held tight when the caseback is screwed on and presses against the movement retainer(but this retainer is a bit worn.
It does not affect the movement and can be fixed.
Watch is being sold head only, but it looks good on a Nato camouflage strap :-)
Overall a very nice and rare military watch - and rarely seen in this original condition.
Price is 750 euro + shipping
Watch is located in Denmark.
