Links to online auctions and other sites: Links to online auctions, dealer sites or other listings of items are permitted, but you should be careful to ensure that such listings will comply with our other ChronoTrader Policies. Movement: Handwound Valjoux 23. This is the more desirable version with the running diamond hand at 9. Running well
Case: Stainless Steel (38mm) in excellent condition. Seems to retain the original finish but obviously it shows some signs of having been worn
Crystal: Acrylic in very good conditions as seen on the photos
Bezel: All original turning both sides. Uses friction and this one it’s a bit softer on touch but operates correctly
Crown: Original unscrew down crown
Dial and Hands: Both original but with issues as commented below:
- Dial its worn and some of the while lettering slightly vanished as well as some of the marks on the subdial. But still looks good in my view
- Hands original but relumed at one point in time. These could be relume to match better the dial and original ones still can be source
Brecelet: Not included, head only
Up for sale, its my iconic Aquastar Deepstar. As mentioned above, this is obviously not a safe queen and its not the most pristine unit but certainly can be a good watch to wear. And with a bit of time can probably be brought to a better state.
This was my intention but now having less and less time to work on these projects, so hopefully someone can take care of it. This is the main reason for letting this nice little guy go.
As mentioned, this unit carries the better Valjoux 23 caliber.
Price for this unit and reflecting its condition is 3.795 euros or near offer, which includes shipping through the mainstream carriers (DHL or EMS). Should you wish Fedex or UPS, this can be arranged at corresponding delta cost.
Better examples running close to 5k and even more at main auctions. Having seen as well recently just a case being offered for 3.5k. So with this information think my price is fairly reasonable.
Bankwire payment preferred, though I can accept Paypal as well in specific conditions and will split fees.
I will also grant a 3 days inspection period. If not as described, watch can be returned in same condition and at buyer´s expense. For this reason I would prefer a deal within the EU. For other places, sale is final due to potential Customs constraints. Watch and myself are located in Spain.
This watch its part of my collection and do have plenty of references worldwide which can be provided upon request. Buy with full confidence.
And here a couple of pictures of the watch. If you would need any further pictures or should have queries, please just ask, will be more than happy to help.
Thanks in advance for looking and Chronotrader for the space.
