Hello all, Reluctantly selling my trusty Submariner 16610 U serial to help fund another Rolex. This has
: been a great daily wear Rolex, all the fun and little fear. 1997
: Rolex Submariner with the "Swiss Only" dial that was
: produced for a couple of years only and was the first dial to
: receive luminova. This "sort of" vintage of Rolex is
: perfect to wear everywhere and still has the classic older Rolex
: look and size while having a more current movement and the
: luminova still works making it practical. Service history is
: unknown but the watch holds time perfectly and power reserve
: seems to be decent. I've had the watch pressure tested and it
: passed so you can shower and swim with it. This model has the
: lug holes which I love because it makes strap changes super
: easy. Now onto the watch itself. Watch has wear commensurate
: with being a regular use watch from 1997. I've posted clear
: pictures which show it has its share of swirls, scratches etc..,
: please judge the photos for your self. Bracelet has stretch but
: still wears very nicely. What is nice is that the watch looks
: unpolished and has all nice edges which you could choose to
: easily have professionally polished or just wear it as is and
: enjoy. The Swiss only dial was the first to receive Luminova
: (not super luminova) and holds its charge well making night
: reading possible. Please note that there is a small scratch on
: the crystal near the cyclops. It is hard to notice unless you
: look at it from an angle and to me not worth replacing. Overall
: this is a great iconic Rolex with everything you could want in a
: practical sort of vintage piece which you can use daily. Email
