Up for sale another very special military watch, this time an Heuer Autavia 11630 issued for the Kenian Airforce.
Most of these KAF issued watches are 11630 "Viceroy style", also some with an "arabic dial".
This one with the orange accents that looks almost identical to the very valuable 11630P is really very hard to find.
( I only saw one other a while ago and then there is the watch ClassicHeuer.de is offering )

Case is in an absolute perfect condition. Pretty sure that it has been professionally refurbished given the military background.
But it certainly is a great job. We know what some of the known case refurbers can do with an Autavia case.
So stunning sunburst effect in the upper case, bevelled edges super sharp and sides that have that nice polished look.
Apart from the caseback the case has no scratches.
Also case-back in very good condition with some superficial scratches.
KAF engraving super sharp. "KAF 410".

Dial and hands in a 100% unrestored condition. So no repainted hands, no relume.
All the lume and orange accents light up beautifully under UV light. The lume of the hours markers is just fabulous;
completely intact and a very nice creamy color.
Subdials in a very nice condition with the orange trim still pretty bright. Hands in very nice and unrestored condition with the hour hand that lost some of its paint at the base.

Tachymeter bezel in very good condition. Lume dot at 12 o'clock has lost its lume, another proof of the original and unrestored condition.
Mineral glas has a very little chip at 10 and 11 o'clock. In real it's almost impossible to see.
All the parts are the original, so also the crown and pushers.

Mechanically the watch is working 100%. Timekeeping, power reserve and chrono perfect.
The watch has been serviced by my watchmaker. So good for many years.

I am offering the watch with or without an original Heuer signed Jubilee bracelet. I offer that bracelet at a very low extra cost.
Bracelet has a very crisp Heuer logo on the clasp; very minimal stretch; curved end links that fit the 11630 case as a glove.

Since this watch is 98% similar to the 11630P ( really expensive reference ) I also made some pics of the watch with a NOS decomp bezel.
Just to show what the possibilities of this watch are. You can make it an Autavia 11630P "KAF". :-)
Decomp bezel is not included in this sale of course. But who knows, anything is possible if you make me the right offer.
