I came across this while window shopping at my favourite vintage watch store during my lunch break.
Being a frequent customer, the shop owner allowed me to take it with me while I decided whether or not I wanted to keep it.
My interest (and knowledge) has mainly been with Vintage Seiko Dive watches, but this was the first time I'd seen a Heuer StopWatch in person, so I couldn't resist taking it with me to do some Internet research.....
I have not been able to find any info on this exact model. The closest I came, was this very similar looking "FISHER" HEUER stopwatch :
This "FISHER" is described as "Ref. 403.901, 62 mm, 1/5 second recorder, 0-30 minute register. 3 crown functions. Waterprotected fiberglass case. Precision lever movement, 7 jewels, shockprotected."
The Stopwatch that I have looks similar, except that mine has the Reset button at 1 O' Clock. Also, the Dial on my Stopwatch shows 10..20..30 Intervals, whereas that on the "FISHER" shows 5..10..15).
Even the hands are similar on both StopWatches, with the second hand in bright gun-metal blue (Sorry, but the Scans didn't capture that) instead of the usual black, and the Minute Hand in white.
My Stopwatch is in pretty good condition overall and the movement (a Seven Jewels Heuer 7700) is spotless. Although the crystal (Acrylic ?) has some scratches and is slightly dicoloured, the Dial look's to be in Excellent condition. The scratch you see at 11 )' Clock is on the Crystal, not the Dial. The Stopwatch is running very well, with the hands resetting to 0 Spot-on. The Hand-wind mechanism works fine.
I have decided this Stopwatch isn't for me, but thought someone on this Forum might be interested. So, I'm offering it for a flat $100.00. Shipping by Registered Post will be $10.00. I can accept PAYPAL (without any additional Fees).
Thanks for looking
