A forum for identifying and avoiding wholly or partially non-authentic wristwatches --
including counterfeit, replica, Frankenwatches and other fake or bastardized pieces.
Our objective here is to DISCOURAGE the sales and purchase of counterfeit
wristwatch and jewelry products. It is also for helping people identify
watches that are mostly authentic, but have been: altered for personal customization,
repaired with inappropriate parts or modified to be passed off as more valuable pieces.

'For sale' postings, commercial solicitation and ads are not allowed. Links to Internet auctions are acceptable only if their purpose is to question the authenticity of a product or provide new clues for identifying counterfeit products. Links that appear to be 'shills' promoting the sale of counterfeit products will be deleted. Links to websites of sellers of counterfeit items are not permitted -- we know they are out there and do not need to be encouraging them by sending traffic to their sites. Ok, from their website I think the following is a fair stab at things:-
Firstly the website is full of gramatical errors abd appauling spelling mistakes. While this has nothing to do with the product I'm always dubious of any company that is prepared to make themselves known on the net but then does not bother to check the language. A terrible advertisment. Check the Rolex page, the Omega page, the Breitling page... The use of English is excellent and the pages are marvellously set up.
The products appear to be or a mixed origin, generally speaking they are designed in Germany and England, the parts are from various locations but constructed in the far east. That does not make for music to these ears.
The company is very new, indeed their line only goes back to 2002.
The price per unit in GBP seems to be anywhere in the £600s.
The design of most watches is bland and reasonably unimaginative, some of the sportier models have overly complicated dials and bezels, the best example is the OCEANMASTER which features a bezel too tightly packed with numbers.
They offer a guarantee for 24 months which is always encouraging.
Looking at the movements they use I see ETA for some quartz models but nothing very impressive at all for automatic.
THis seems very pricey to me for stuff that really doesn't blow my skirt up.
Is it worth it? On the face of things I'd have to say I don;t think so but without seeing one 'in the flesh' as it were, it's hard to tell.
Are the ones on Ebay fake? I wouldn't guess so. Why fake a watch no-one has heard of? They're a new company, they already have a lot of discontinued models, this is probably excess stock that has seeped onto the market.
