: So that I am better able to discern between
: fake and real current model Devilles, can
: you please give me more information on what
: tell-tale attributes the watch has that
: indicate a fraud.
There are no single simple things to look for--fakes come in dozens of variations. Some are really close, others are really bad and obvious. Check out the Rogues Gallery of OMEGA fakes here on Chronocentric to see examples of what oddities fakes tend to have.
But only reliable way to tell a fake is to know what the real thing looks like.
For example, here is how I could tell that watch was a fake:
1) The wording on the display back was all wrong.
2) The movement inside looks nothing like a real OMEGA movement.
3) The bracelet is not the style sold on that model.
4) All OMEGA Co-Axial watches made so far say "CO-AXIAL" on the dial.
All of these are things you HAVE to know what the real thing looks like to see how this fake was different and incorrect on.
