'For sale' postings, commercial solicitation and ads are not allowed. Links to Internet auctions are acceptable only if their purpose is to question the authenticity of a product or provide new clues for identifying counterfeit products. Links that appear to be 'shills' promoting the sale of counterfeit products will be deleted. Links to websites of sellers of counterfeit items are not permitted -- we know they are out there and do not need to be encouraging them by sending traffic to their sites. First things first - assumedly you want your money back... in the UK, if you buy something for more than £100 using a credit card, and the article turns out to be useless, misdescribed or downright fraudulent, you can claim your money back off the credit card company - it doesn't work with debit cards though.
Secondly, yes, by all means contact the alleged maker of the watch, they have contact with the police and others who take an interest in closing down such companies and individuals and seizing their cash and counterfeit goods.
US Customs will have an interest in this scam, so report it to them also.
Then there is http://www.lpconline.com/report_counterfeit_products.html they keep a database and take action on behalf of their clients - i.e. those whose goods are counterfeited.
If you have the address of the exporting company, you may want to get the local agency in that country to have a word with them - do a search for "report counterfeit goods" (or similar) in Google.
