Thanks for everyone's thoughts on this. There were 2 things that bug me about this watch - the slash across the 'X' and not having a date where the 'VI' is. Both of these features are in the picture on the Australian ebay site but not on Cartier's Oceania website.
But I then found a watch that has the slash on Cartier's Middle East website but it doesn;t match the description exactly. I have asked the seller for more details.
