: It looks perfectly 'real' on the outside. The
: serial number are tiny and it's located
: under the lug. The number should match the
: serial number on the card and the tag
: supplied when bought new. My only doubt is
: that the box that i have has everything in
: silver than golden as shown in your pics.
: This could be because mine is a planet ocean
: (but it's still a seamaster professional
: though ^_^) Inside the cardboard box there
: should be a slot for the user manual which
: is non model specific (includes all caliber)
: A cream leather sleeve for storing the
: certificates (cards), there are three cards;
: the chronometer certificate, a pictogram,
: and a international warranty card. Inside
: the red leather box should be a small
: compartment for storing spare links. Two
: plastic tags one with serial number and
: another with Seamaster logo on. And of coz a
: genuine watch in the box.
: It's a good idea to take your watch to a
: watchmaker, A. to check whether if it's
: genuine, B. to have it serviced and polished
: if it's genuine.
Looks fake to me, the "notches" on the bezel do not line up with the numbers as they should on a real SMP and the crown guards seem a little too small.
Best regards David
