When I was doing my research on this for my 2 Omegas that I bought on ebay, I found that for a Constellation, the new models have the star and have fine ticks around the face. The old model does not have a star and has tracks around the face. Do a search for omega const* on ebay and you should see both versions. Never buy anything with QUARTZ written on the face. I'm pretty sure those are fake. Hope it helps.
