watches that are mostly authentic, but have been: altered for personal customization,
repaired with inappropriate parts or modified to be passed off as more valuable pieces.

'For sale' postings, commercial solicitation and ads are not allowed. Links to Internet auctions are acceptable only if their purpose is to question the authenticity of a product or provide new clues for identifying counterfeit products. Links that appear to be 'shills' promoting the sale of counterfeit products will be deleted. Links to websites of sellers of counterfeit items are not permitted -- we know they are out there and do not need to be encouraging them by sending traffic to their sites. it seems allright, I've called the owner and he seems legit, given me his home number and address. The paper appear to be ok as far as I can see on the pictures and the owner works for HP himself and says he won it at work, hence the little logo in the back.
can anyone tell me if this is a real seamaster chronometer and tell me if it would be a good deal for 700 euro? I bought a fake seamaster once and am a little cautious now but don't have 1750 euros handy for a Real New One.
