here's a few quick ways to spot a sub fake...
1. Luminous 'pearl' on bezel is raised and does not glow, real subs have inset pearls.
2. the m in 300m and chronometer should line up, if they do not, it is a fake.
3. date magnification on the watch should almost fill the cyclops. Most fakes barely magnify the date
4.The date wheel should have a closed 6 and 9, many fakes have a font with open (unfinished( 6 and 9
