I think I may have bought the bait on this one. Received the watch and although it is good looking , I think it may be put together from various pieces. Before taking it to a specialist, I wanted to ask how I could check on my own if I bought a bastardized piece?
The crown appears new relatively new
Back is marked with "1203", but I now understand that is marking for non-chrono
Wear between pieces does not appear even
Face could be original, but appears too clear and crisp to be from the 60s
Movement is not signed "Breitling" but is likely a venus 170
In hindsight, his description of himself give me great concern
If anyone can offer advice, I would very much appreciate it.
