A forum for identifying and avoiding wholly or partially non-authentic wristwatches -- including counterfeit, replica, Frankenwatches and other fake or bastardized pieces. Our objective here is to DISCOURAGE the sales and purchase of counterfeit wristwatch and jewelry products. It is also for helping people identify watches that are mostly authentic, but have been: altered for personal customization, repaired with inappropriate parts or modified to be passed off as more valuable pieces.

Links to Internet auctions are acceptable only if their purpose is to question the authenticity of a product or provide new clues for identifying counterfeit products. Links that appear to be 'shills' promoting the sale of counterfeit products will be deleted. Links to websites of sellers of counterfeit items are not permitted -- we know they are out there and do not need to be encouraging them by sending traffic to their sites. Help on authenticity of Moon watch please! *LINK*

Hi guys, i really need help on this watch, it is a Omega Speedmaster men's moonwatch (3572.50) with clear back. Im not sure of authenticity,beacause i am skeptical about the band where it says "Omega speedmaster" instead of "omega speedmaster professional" as shown in this real one:

I also have concerns about the 3,6,9 markers, are they smaller than usual?
And also the back might be a little out of position, but im not sure. Also the low starting price of about 300 bucks is a little skeptical.

These are just my concerns buy im not sure, please add some input about anything else. It might be real but i dont really know please help!

It says in the auction,
Dial: Black
Bracelet: stainless steel
Clasp: double locking foldover clasp.
Skeleton case back
Manual mechanical movement
chronograph functions
case diameter: 38.5mm
serial number intact.
