: Hi Doug, The Kentucky is a v.7750 movement...
: So the instructions for setting the day-date
: is the same as most any other 7750... I've
: posted a link to a scanned set of
: instructions that you may use in setting
: your Kentucky below.
: I'm sorry for not spotting your query earlier,
: It's been a long tough week - 10 days for
: me.
: I hope this helps!
: Chuck
Thanks for the response. The instructions helped, to a point. The Kentucky I have includes display of both day and date, not just date. So setting was a little different than in the scan. Ultimately, through experimentation, I learned tha the crown has two detents: pulled to the 2nd, it sets the time as usual, but moving forward and backward around midnight does not set the date. Once I discovered the 1st detent things became more clear: rotate the crown clockwise to set the date, anti-clockwise to set the day of week. The watch has been keeping flawless time since I wound and set it. This site is wonderful - a great contribution to collectors and enthusiasts.
I hope your week improves and includes a weekend sometime soon.
Doug
