Hey everyone,
Long time lurker first time poster. Used to be very active on watchuseek but now mainly on IG.
I'd really like to purchase a Heuer Bundeswehr 1550 SG with a 3H dial. Ive been reading on all the dial variations, case conditions etc. I know to find an "untouched vintage" is pretty rare given these were tool watches in the purest sense, with cases, hands and dials swapped with some frequency. The prices ive seen range from the low 4s up to 6k USD.
I thought id post a pic of one i was interested in to get some honest opinions.
Things you should know about me.
I work with my hands and I have few safe queens. Im not looking for a museum example. Im looking for something robust i can wear and enjoy true to the spirit of how these watches were meant to be worn.
That being said... dont be shy
