Okay, The first attempt of a metal bezel replacement sticker was a dismal failure. The metal was too thick and had unacceptable resolution. HOWEVER, I have been referred to a better company. http://www.alumagraphics.com They can etch onto paper thin aluminum OR print to metalized vinyl with as good of resolution as the original. This is their claim, of course. I visited their facility today and have seen samples and agree in principle. The etched aluminum will require a die to be made in order to make the precise cut. ($100 or so, one time purchase) Artwork will run about $45 to $60. They are going to design it from scratch because they feel they can make a better copy this way rather than a scan of the original.

The good news with this is that when I get the artwork done, I can choose one way or the other with any quantitiy. If anybody on the list would want one, I could easily place an order and mail. Let's wait and see how well the metalized vinyl turns out. If it is dead-nuts on, abandon the aluminum decal. I will own the artwork so if anybody wants a copy, feel free to ask.

Regarding the GMT artwork. For the GMT bezel, it will be considerably harder for the aluminum insert but possible. Two seperate silk screens would be needed in addition to the etching. HOWEVER, if it is done on the metalized vinyl, it would be fairly cheap and easy.
