Was always such an awful decision / collab by Tag. Sure, I get they were trying to appeal to a certain demographic, but seriously - this guy?!?! He appears to at least be getting a nice new swimming pool out of the arrangement... not sure what Tag achieved!
I do hope his love-in for Richard Mille is a conclusive end to him being a Tag ambassador.
With dropping Alec Monopoly and the Carrera reissue / heritage piece my faith in Tag may be tuning a corner. Fingers crossed these two events become a theme / direction of travel for the brand.
: Here's Alec Monopoly, until recently a TAG Heuer ambassador,
: showing off his new $160,000 Richard Mille watch --
: https://youtu.be/sPbXj2v8avw
: The video is titled, "I Bought a Watch that Costs As Much as a
: House". Be sure to listen to him share his knowledge of
: these high-end watches . . . he says that his new watch is worth
: as much as a West Hollywood condo . . . but he doesn't seem to
: know how to operate the chronograph . . . say's he'll need to
: read the owner's manual. Oh my.
: Must admit that of all the TAG Heuer ambassadors who have come and
: gone over the last two decades, I will miss Alec the least.
