My apology if I misled people with my initial posting, which has since been redacted to honor the embargo on showing the new Carrera.
TAG Heuer will call the new watch the "Carrera 160 Years Silver Limited Edition", but the "silver" refers to the dial rather than the case.
It is interesting that we do not see any watches made of silver nowadays.

: Wonderful piece. Glad to see TH considers - of all its pieces - the
: Carrera as the one for their own anniversary as a brand -
: rather than anything else.
: Not a fan of silver - which has a tendency to get tarnished with
: black flecks - but it is definitely a classy one. Omitting the
: date is the icing on the cake.
: Let's hope they'll have a stainless steel version sooner or later -
: and with a full metal caseback please, at least as an option.
: Cheers,
: Fabrizio
