Dear Jeff,
Thank you for your reply.
The reason being I have been offered a very nice condition 2446 3rd exec with 1-12 bezel but the numbers on non sarifs.
I look through various pics from the internet or books but see all of the 1-12 bezel for 3rd exec all have serif fonts.
Hence my curiousity.
