We'll never know exactly what happened to this watch, but it looks fantastic now!! Thanks for bringing this one back to life and for sharing it with the community. That took some guts!!

: Yep thats as bought! The dial was too far gone to save
: unfortunately - rusted solid to the movement and all the
: lettering dropped off. I think it was water damaged early in its
: life and then mothballed, as the case is great
