I have a skinny wrist, but believe that the 44mm case with 14mm thickness will be OK . . . shortened lugs may be the key.
Normal TAG Heuer Formula 1 chronograph is 42 mm, and is comfortable . . . I suppose they had to make the Formula 1 case a bit larger to house the Heuer 02 movement.
Absolutely love the design . . . combining best of the vintage portfolio in a modern case. I am optimistic.
