Here's the newest Carrera from TAG Heuer, which pays tribute to the vintage Heuer Montreal, from 1972. It's a limited edition to celebrate the 160th Anniversary of the TAG Heuer brand, which was founded in 1860.
Quick impression -- Smart use of the heritage portfolio to create a fantastic looking modern watch . . . a festive watch for the anniversary celebration. A good complement to the much quieter 160th Anniversary Silver Limited Edition. We can't realistically expect to see a re-issue of the Montreal, so nice to see this tribute in a Carrera case.
Congratulations to our friend Catherine Eberle-Devaux, Heritage Director at TAG Heuer!! We can definitely see her fingerprints on this watch, as the white Montreal is one of her favorites.
TAG Heuer "glassbox" crystal and case (39 mm); powered by the Heuer 02 movement; limited to 1,000 pieces; available July 2020.
We will be providing a proper introduction and some impressions soon, but in the meanwhile here are some photos from TAG Heuer.
