I do remember this story from when I was first introduced to Heuer, but never realised the significance of what Jean-Luc found. Interesting to see this (and the other pieces) come to auction-presumably it's a unique Heuer.
So, the case material seems to be non-standard also?
Look forward to seeing how it does.....will it stay prominent in the community or disappear into a deep pocket somewhere?
