Some months ago, TAG Heuer Heritage Director, Catherine Eberle-Devaux, confirmed the authenticity of some additional models from the 1970s and we added them to OnTheDash. Neither of these models ever appeared in a Heuer catalog, and collectors have debated their authenticity for many years. Now, we know that these are authentic, made by Heuer, circa 1977.
Shown below are two versions of the Reference 905, in blue and fume. See more of these here -- http://www.onthedash.com/watches/reference-905/
And there are also two versions of the Reference 2000, one with a silver dial and one with a blue dial, here -- http://www.onthedash.com/watches/reference-2000/
There is a good write-up covering the Reference 905, posted today on Calibre 11 -- https://www.calibre11.com/heuer-ref-905-valjoux-7734/
Thanks to Catherine for confirming the authenticity of these models and special thanks to Thomas Lubbock for the photos of the Reference 2000 models. Follow Thomas on Instagram -- @HeuerHeritage.
