Now comes the update from Hodinkee, that the auction catalog is being revised, and the auction will be held.
Here's the story -- https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/bonhams-seiko-only-making-waves-auction-not-canceled
. . . I know little about these vintage Seiko watches, but hard to imagine that this story will have a happy ending.

: Another black eye for Bonhams, with the cancellation of their
: online Seiko only auction.
: Hat tip to the crew over at Fratello Magazine, for their role in
: exposing the terrible watches that were to be included in this
: sale. Read the Fratello posting here --
: https://www.fratellowatches.com/cancelled-bonhams-seiko-auction-a-dogs-breakfast/
: Once again, you have to wonder what companies like Bonhams
: contribute to the vintage watch community, other than
: misinformation and greed. Nonsense like this is one of the
: reasons that many collectors are afraid to venture into the
: world of vintage watches.
: Well done, over at Fratello . . . amazing that the community of
: collectors can know so much more, and have so much more
: integrity, than the so-called experts.
