We discussed this watch last summer, and perhaps it will become an annual rite.

This watch was sold by Phillips in November 2018 (Hong Kong sale), at $75,368.

In April 2019, we saw the watch listed by a dealer in Japan, at 9,980,000 JPY (then $91,846).

Now, in August 2020, 16 months later, we see the watch marked down to 9,280,000 JPY (currently $87,439).

Most observers were surprised to see the watch fetch $75K at the Phillips sale; I suspect that these observers would also suggest that the discount from $92K to $87K will not be sufficient to move the watch.
