I suspect I know the Camaro you are referring to-this one-
?
If so, I believe the configuration to be correct. There are a number of these 'red accent' types within a relatively small serial number range, which I mention here about half way down this page-

The sub-dial hands on these do seem to have been a mixture of red and/or white, although most did have the 3 white sub-dial hands seen on this example.
(Do notice the left sub-dial hand (at least) is not correct and no idea is there are any other 'anomalies'.)
