Thanks Steve, very helpful!
Indeed that Camaro (offered on the bay) triggered the question. I also noticed the wrong seconds hand on that one (seems to be from an earlier version).
When I looked for reference photo's of a 7220 NT with all white sub-dial hands I could not find them on the trusted sites like OnTheDash and HeuerCamaro.com, so that raised some red flags. I did however find more of those Camaro's that were sold through dealers in the past, hence my question. Good to hear these seem to be legit versions of the 7220NT. Finding a correct seconds hand for the one on the bay might be tricky, so I am not sure if I would go for that one, but I do like the red tachy and red chrono hand, so I might stay on the lookout for one of these.
Thanks again!
: Hi Ernie, welcome to the forum!
: I suspect I know the Camaro you are referring to-this one-
:
: ?
: If so, I believe the configuration to be correct. There are a
: number of these 'red accent' types within a relatively small
: serial number range, which I mention here about half way down
: this page-
: https://www.heuercamaro.com/models/7220
: and seen here
: https://www.heuercamaro.com/models/7220/7220-nt-third
: The sub-dial hands on these do seem to have been a mixture of red
: and/or white, although most did have the 3 white sub-dial hands
: seen on this example.
: (Do notice the left sub-dial hand (at least) is not correct and no
: idea is there are any other 'anomalies'.)
: If it's not this Camaro, feel free to post a link or photo (or
: email me directly) and I can take a look at it.
: Hope that helps,
: Steve
