Thank you very much. The watch is solid 14ct with the screw "polly" back.You mentioned the grandfather of "Carrera".Are these gold ones highly collectable and do they compete with the later Models.Why is there so little known of the 2449?Does anyone know how many were ever produced?will be able to update with photos when taken apart. Thanks for the time spend and examination of photographs.
