The process is called "pad printing", and it still requires some work to understand how the "Heuer" would be printed so poorly. As I understand it, the whole process starts with a large plate, on which there is engraved the Heuer shield and the word "Camaro" or "Carrera". Not sure how this plate would get so messed up / letters off center.
