I didn't notice it so much in this conversation, but we often do see "interviews" in which the interviewer both asks and answers the questions. Sometimes they step all over the special guest, who is left looking like a decoration.
I don't recall the details, but do remember a "subject" being interviewed and responding a couple of times, "Was there a question there?" Yes, it takes some skill for the humble interviewer to draw out information from the conversation, rather than providing all the answers himself.
