: The November 2020 edition of Rich's Price Guide suggests the
: range from 7,000 GBP (bottom of the range for a Rindt in Fair
: condition) to 18,000 GBP (top of the range for one in Mint
: condition). This is a wide range, but it sounds about right to
: me.
: So middle of the range is around $15,000 USD, which is the number
: that I would have suggested for a Rindt in Good condition
: (between the Fair and the Mint).
: Not sure about your high-end dealer contacts, but I am seeing
: recent strength / stability in the price of the vintage Heuer
: chronographs.

Thank you Jeff..
Maybe my wording was too strong? My comment was in context to the same thing we spoke of earlier this fall. There is still a ton of vintage Heuer product out there where the watch is of very average condition with very high retails, too high. But as we know those watches are seldom sold at those prices. In regard to my sources they are three very reputable Heuer buyers/sellers/watchmakers across the pond. I have offered my vintage Heuer to several of them at a more than fair price with no interest. That said, they may have too much inventory as well.
Good discussion..
