Took this pic a few hours ago in the Sebring pits at a track day event. This is the area that Jack Heuer had the conversations with the Rodriguez brothers that led to the name Carrera being used in Heuer watches. Although I’m not wearing a Carrera, here’s a pic of ‘Sepi’ with McQueen at Sebring. Made me wonder how many Sifferts and Heuers in general have travelled to this obscure point on the map since 1963 with drivers, pit crew, mechanics and organizers.
