Unfortunately, the Reference 418 chronograph was sold in the period when we do not have many catalogs or other references to provide information.

The Reference 418 was part of the Reference 433 series, meaning that the Reference 433 was the stainless steel version, the Reference 419 was the 14 karat gold version and the Reference 418 was the 18 karat gold version. These three models were all powered by the Valjoux 23 movement, which was a 13 ligne movement.

Shown below, is the relevant image from the 1946 brochure. We see these watches in the 1945 and 1946 catalogs, but not the earlier ones from 1942 to 1943. So we can assume that they were introduced circa 1945.
