: Hi guys,
: I‘ve bought a vintage Heuer Carrera 7853 and the caseback is
: engraved with „c.8178–4“
: Does anyone have any idea why some Carreras have such an engraving
: and others don‘t and what‘s the meaning of it?
: Hodinkee sold a similar watch with a similar engraving and they
: write on their website that the number refers to the country the
: watch had been delivered to originally.
: Any ideas?
: All the best
: Gernot
That's an image of the caseback
