"C" on Caseback = Cuanillon & Cie (Heuers Swiss distributor)

The "C" on the caseback, followed by some numbers, stands for "Cuanillon & Cie", the distributor for Heuer in Switzerland.

This means that the watch was originally sold into the domestic Swiss market, rather than being exported.
