In Response To: Windows Desktop Heuers *PIC* ()

How about Rally-Master Pair, with Master Time and Monte Carlo allowing for dual time zones? I would imagine that the Monte may take some work, to get the hours to display in the window!

and while you are writing code, can we get the bezels to rotate (perhaps to serve as alarms)?

: I recently ran across an ancient piece of
: shareware that puts a little clock on your
: Windows desktop. The program was (badly)
: written for Windows 95. It isn't very
: impressive - since Windows provides similar
: functionality - unless you're an OnTheDash
: aficionado and hack into the software to add
: your favorite chronographs...

: All the watches have working second, minute,
: and hour hands and are synchronized to the
: Windows clock. The attached photo is of the
: actual running watches on the desktop. I'm
: particularly proud of the Carrera Electric -
: with working analog and digital readout.
: They have transparent backgrounds and can be
: dragged/dropped anywhere on the desktop.
: There's even a rudimentary alarm feature.
: It's easy to switch from one
: "skin" to the next if you're not a
: big Super Autavia fan.....

: I contacted the author for a registered version
: of the program, and he told me it was long
: abandoned and that I can distribute it
: freely as long as I use my skins
: exclusively. So, assuming that I get
: approval from Jeff/Chuck for the OnTheDash
: digital harvesting I did for the photo's, I
: can make the program, skins, and
: registration key available to anyone that
: wants it. Any other "skin"
: suggestions?

: Jeff, Chuck?

: Regards,

: Lyle
